This Cajon is made up of strong wood quality. Sound quality is good, beginners should definitely go for it!

Decent For the Price

Average Cajon and a good price point - good for beginners. Has decent tone - build quality and finish isn't great. Uneven screws and splinters are a bit of a problem. At the price point it's probably the best (only) - but if your serious about buying a cajon, don't buy this.

very basic cajon

This is very basic product. Does not bring out deep sounds and sides are not usable. So if your just starting up on learning to play, then this is a basic product to start with.

best for beginner

this is the best cajon available in indian market for a beginner. it is cheap, accurate size, from a known brans, and has warranty too..what else do you want.. also it is pre assembled..you dont have to take hassle of assembling it...

Great sound and affordable

This cajon sounds really good, the basswood really helps, the lows (thuds) are deep and the snares sounds very crisp with a nice attack, I think this product is great especially for touring percussionist and musicians, the gig bag is an added advantage so you don't have to worry about logistics! The finish is great too, edges are nicely glued and rounded! I've used Meinl and Pearl products similar to this one, and the Stagg CAJ-50 is as good if not better! Definitely recommend this for the working musician or enthusiasts just getting into percussion or the Cajon! Perfect for sitting on with a inverted kick drum pedal ( or get a a pedal specific for the cajon) and playing acoustic guitar! So yea, perfect for singer songwriters!

The Stagg CAJ-50 Natural Cajon is absolutely perfect for beginners, offering a good range of tones for experimenting drummers or novice percussionists to explore.Whilst seated on the top of the Cajon, you can explore the different areas of the front plate with different parts of your hands, opening up an exciting world of acoustic tones, ideal for latin, folk, and acoustic pop/rock in particular. A drum that is increasingly popular amongst drummers looking for a portable drum to give them a variety of sounds this would make a great addition to your drum collection or be a great place to start out to get a feel for drumming and percussion instruments. To round off this fantastic package, I have personally used this product and it is awesome!

STAGG CAJ-50

Have just played on this once in a store. The sound is pretty good. The bass plate sounds deep and gives out a loud sound. The range on the plates is pretty good. Haven't tried it with the mics yet, so can't say how it will sound with a stage setup. But this sounds pretty good.
