One hell of an amplifier!

The item arrived on time, nothing wrong with delivery, no defects etc.The tones from this amp are tremendous!The cleans are very smooth and the Rhythm and Lead channels are here to give you two different metal drive channels. The Preamp boost, The Tone, Dynamics and re-verb knobs are enough to shape any tone you want! The foot switch is just godlike, making it the perfect gigging gear!The only con I could find is, the head phone output. Doesn't really sound very good but will work if you're just planning to jam at 2 AM.And lastly, I don't feel this amp is a one trick metal pony, it works for every genre, covers all the tones with some tweaking!

Great metal amp but hardware not good enough

Its a great sounding amp when it comes to chugging metal tones and is very loud even at 1 Watt. It sounds a bit too compressed for crunchy overdriven tones though.The EL84 powertubes tend to sound a bit "Spongy" when distorted and will not give you the same grit as an El34 or a 6L6. My only problem with this amp is that the knobs and switches are bad quality. in a few months the switch on the effects loop loosened resulting in sudden sound cutoffs while playing and now my volume knob is giving trouble. Even the bass eq knob for the clean channel just rotates freely.Ive been using this amp for the past one year and I love it as it is very convenient for studio recordings. I only wish it came with better hardware.
