Solid, understated, essential piece of gear

I chose the Samson MDA1 Pro DI box to ensure I could plug my passive-pickup electric guitar directly into the line-level inputs of my MPC Live, to use as a multi-effects processor and amp sim. Instantly, it made a huge difference, giving high gain and low impedance as required by the line inputs, and improving the overall tonality of my guitar sound. Would buy again.
