I bought this pedal to be used with my line 6 amp. Actually I needed an overdrive pedal to be used with a little drive on the amp and then drive it further whenever required. I don't believe in multi effect pedal but single pedal doing its job properly and also I can adjust parameter on the fly without going into menu(s) with a standalone pedal. I took the challenge and bought this pedal which have both overdrive and distortion features thinking if I have to play on a clean amp I might need the distortion. I was skeptical at first but now that am playing for sometime I can say it is a very versatile pedal. I like the tone of the pedal and the overdrive/distortion feature is really good. One might need to tune in properly to get the tone and drive so that it goes well with the amp one is using but after that it's really a pleasure to use.
