Good for the price but not best.

I m reviewing this product after using it almost an year.-It has a 49 keys with semi-weighted action that feels nice & hard to the fingers that is great if u play piano. However, if u are into pop & ballad stuffs, go for more keys! The keys are wobbly & move left right, sounds bumpy, springy, & over that thanks to Bajaao's un-professional team that sent me a keyboard that had no seal on the box, the plastic sticker on the keybed was tempered & in bonus, it has three keys that act crazy. It does not sense velocity uniformly. Bajaao charged me full mount, I was fool to expect perfection.-Aftertouch-there are very less patches available that support after touch & at an intermediate level, mod wheel is much expressive. Therefore, aftertouch is useless.-Some keys of keybed are slight up & down like Indian roads means the keys aren't on the same level.-Body is plasticky & makes sound when u lift this heavy thing or press anywhere. Its a plastic thing that is solid.-Rest everything works as it is supposed to, the faders, the knobs, the transport control, & the four pads that keeps stucking occasionally. -But I should praise its intuitive interface that has heck lot of utility apart from traditional octave shift & transposition. It has velocity curve, aftertouch & custom velocity settings, pad velocity settings & many more.-But its a keyboard & the most important element isn't that fine. Good for tight budget. Not best.TO BAJAAOIm sorry sir but u people do not know to treat artists. U are not selling vegetables! In addition, apparently u do not even know much about keyboards as u sent me a defective piece saying it to be working. & over that u charge 1000s on the nme of warranty that we won't even like to claim easily because u keep stuffs for a month!(Even Armstrong returned from moon in 28 days!) & expect us to play dholak & tmboora in our studios during these days. We know it is a psy...

Worth buying

This keyboard can be called as all in one keyboard as it has something for everyone, like knobs, trigger pads, faders and buttons . An awesome product.

Graphite all the way!

Controllers, keys, knobs and everything else this keyboard comprises of is just great. Since the price is low, the features you get is more than the budget so its a win situation. Was looking out for keyboard with such extravagant features under budget, Graphite completed all my needs.

Affordable and solid

The Graphite 49 is an amazing midi controller and packs more features than any other controllers in the 15-16 k price range. I dropped this beast a couple of months back and feared the worst. But to my surprise, there was absolutely no damage, internal or external.A few things to look out for (from my personal experiences using the graphite for about a year):- The rotary knobs have a rubbery exterior, and personally I feel that a Matt plastic finish would've been better( especially for players who sweat a lot)- The keys: one key stopped working 2 months into buying the graphite. (The one year Warranty facilitated fixing the issue for free. So no worries:p)- Its quite heavy.Though built like a tank, portability might be a teeny weeny problem.- The manual is a little confusing and might be a worry for beginners. That being said, the learning curve isn't too steep.- BE AWARE OF THE EDGES: The one I got has sharp edges toward either end of the keyboard. You can hurt yourself(certified hurt person speaking here :P)- There are only 4 pads (Really wish there were 8 small ones instead of 4 big ones)With the 49 keys( semi weighted bliss) ,a list of good features( that amazing display), and a sophisticated yet functional design, the Graphite is a thumbs up for amateur and experienced musicians alike.

Great for the price!

been using it for a couple of months now. Good stuff. Except for the encoders, I love it (hence the 4-stars). The keys come with a specification of "semi-weighted" and they are very rightfully so. If you are looking for low action ones, don't buy this, else you'll complain.

A Value for Money MIDI Keyboard for enthusiasts

Bought it from Bajaao.com and was impressed with their service. I received a faulty one which they promptly replaced. I have been using this for 1.5 years and this is the best affordable midi controller I have come across. The build quality is nice with a clean retro look. The keys are smooth with nice response and you also get aftertouch at a bargain! There are presets for major DAWs and you can also create your own using the provided software. All the faders, sliders, pads and buttons are easily customisable to suit your needs. All in all, if you are looking for a lightweight but affordable controller keyboard with plenty of tweakable controls, you can't go wrong with the Graphite. The only issue I had was the lack of detail in the manuals, which makes the learning curve a little steeper. But once you figure it out, you'll be surprised with what this piece can do !

SAMSON GRAPHITE 49 USB MIDI KEYBOARD CONTROLLER

I found a mixed bag of reviews online, but after a lot of research, I took a shot. I'm happy I did. Delivery as ever was prompt and on time by bajaao. There was no damage, and the build quality was better than expected. This is a heavy midi controller which is a good thing. The semi weighted keys is great as it still maintains an authentic piano feel. The program maps with every daw that I tried without any hassle. In short, I would say that it all depends on what you use it for. The Graphite 49 is packed with stuff and you pay half the cost for something like MPK49. The only complaint I have, which is minor are that most buttons are not back lit. you get what you pay for..but if that's not an issue then go for it.

Great Product!

I love this product. The key feel is wonderful, highly responsive. For a midi controller, Samson Graphite 49 is too heavy. But its a good value for your money. I happy the product was delivered on time without any damages.
