I have been doing music since 2 years. All of my equipments are bought from Bajaao.com. I decided to buy me a pair of studio monitors so I can mix and master my music better. Out of like 20+ options on a budget like JBL, PreSonus, KRK, etc, what attracted me to these bad boys is the price-to-utility concept. At this price, these speakers are one of a kind by Mackie.
Firstly the speakers weigh merely 5KGs so you can even carry them easily. Making them portable for small group concerts or jamming with friends. The 3inch woofer driver gives the best monitor output in 2.2 channel configuration. The powered speaker, which is selected by flipping a switch at the back of main speaker, sometimes might give out a buzzy bass output due to higher volumes.
Speaking of higher volume, these speakers blast out the sounds you are playing at 70-80% volume set by the knob provided at the front. You can literally play out your songs so loud it will be like being in a movie theater. The speakers I bought were in a bundle with 2 Balanced TRS cables and foam to place these speakers.
TL:DR these speakers are a go go for any beginner music producer who wants something better to master their tracks. Provided with Bajaao's most friendly customer care support and on time delivery, you can rely on these speakers for good.
Bought this from Bajaao.com for using with my Yamaha PSR E363 Piano Keyboard. I play only Piano. So, my intention was to enhance the piano sound. But, the speaker is creating deep and sustaining bass sound particularly in the lower octave keys which is not alike the original sound of the instrument (piano). It is not giving cristal clear sound. As I know, Monitor Speaker should not manipulate the quality of sound, which this speaker is doing. So, this speaker is not a monitor speaker.
After using a least price speakers has monitors in the past years it feels so good to hear what real sound actually is... It's awesome to work on sound now a days.
The speakers give the correct representation of the mix and the sound quality is very good
