So I have a squire bullet Strat and a Kustom Sound Generic amplifier for guitars and Keyboards.I brought this mini amp as I was going off to college soon, thinking this would be a nice addition to my set.And boy was I right. This little vox amp gives great tube amp-esque classic British tones.You get that in your face, punchy gain, and everything is completely dynamic. You can reduce the volume from the on board guitar settings, and it'll reduce the gain as well as the volume... The delay and reverb effects are phenomenal, And with the tremolo setting on, Wake me up when September ends sounds MAJESTIC. I hook this through my Kustom Sound amp, and play around with the treble, bass and mids and I can get a severely great tone from crunchy blues to IN YOUR FACE rock for AC/DC...This is really a phenomenal little bite sized packet and a definite recommendation to add in your slot if you're just beginning or if you're a seasoned player traveling on the road.
A savior for people who wants to play and practice without disturbing other members of the family. The inbuilt effects are quite nice and usable.
If you want something really simple and cheap to practice all by yourself, this is a great investment. Provides you with a variety of Tones and surprisingly fits quite well into the guitar, which was my only worry when buying it. Would recommend
Its an awesome product for practice and also if you are jamming with friends in a room..just connect the vox to any speaker. The tone is fantastic and really a close copy of orignal AC30
VOX AMPLUG AC30 is bassically a preamp,Just the replica of ac30 amp tone with all analog model tech.Great for bed room practice but it has some OD tone aiso.for best sonic pleasure play it with any high end headphone. Just plug into your guitar and Rock On !!
