When I started my own studio setup I wanted to buy a monitor which served my purpose. Since, I am interested in Electronic Music Production and I produce electronic music this would be the best monitor I would recommend if you have a budget of 45000/- for a pair of monitors. I also had shortlisted HS8 but I have worked with HS8 and it was pretty much difficult for me to make decisions while mixing low end. Compared to HS8, Reveal 802s give much better response in the low frequency. This also has front ported bass reflex system which enables me to put the monitors closer to the walls. Its a good alternative for the people who does not want to go for HS8s. Build Quality is solid. And tweeters are poke resistant. The best part is even while listening at louder volume I was not able to find any sort of distortion. Beyond all this its totally personal whether you want to go for it or not. For me it served my purpose and it sounds great!!
