My band has been using a P420 for over 1.5 years and it has proven to be great for the price. We use it for a dual mic set-up on acoustic guitars, also use them for that infamous 2-mic drum hack. The microphone is overall very well made mic, has a solid feel to it. Some EQ adjustments maybe needed, depending on your sound source but honestly, the P420 is the one amazing budget priced mic that has earned its place in our vault after trying out a lot of budget mics from Shure, Sennheiser etc at various studios of our friends bands and never finding exactly what we needed. I highly recommend this, at least consider my experience with it.. The 3-pickup patterns is like a freebie which is useful sometimes.I would actually rate it 4.5 maybe but theres no option to do that here i guess.
