I love the keyboard. I would say this would one of the best MIDI keyboard. I bought Black Edition. I'm enjoying it.
Before buying this, I was gonna buy the Novation LaunchKey 49 MKII. I got on a call with the customer representative and I was suggested to go for Arturia instead of the Novation one. I did my own research on this and this turned out to be way better than what I was going for. The suggestion was totally worth it and I got this at a pretty decent price. The only issue is with the faders as they are not that responsive (I have to fade in and out multiple times for it to get detected) apart from that, everything's great. Pads are really awesome and the bundled software is great!
Uncompared software integration. Great build quality
Received my Midi Keyboard today, I was exited to complete my pending projects with it but Unfortunately it was not working, had moisture all over it. I mailed to Bajaao.com at the very moment with the pics. Hope they can issue the replacement asap....:(....Overall, expectation was high but was not none delivered.
I have tried a lot of midi keyboards, some of them include the roland a49, m-audio oxygen 49, nektar lx49 and this arturia keylab49 but there are reasons i choose the keylab49 over all of the others. Don't get me wrong, the nektar, maudio all are pretty great for their price and what they do but the sound bundles and the control you get with the keylab is unmatched.The keylab massively exceeded my expectations. Its way better than my original m-audio oxygen 49 keyboard in every way. It has synth key action which feels much better than the oxygen and is not as plasticky and cheap as the maudio. The quality of pads feel great. The mod and pitch wheels aren't those lame tiny ones. They are the normal sized chunky mod/pitch wheels and feel great with the perfect amount of resistance that i like to have control. The included Analog Lab 3 software i thought would be of no use to me but I was surprised to find it's a full flegged, flagship sample library.Over 5500 unique instruments pulled from Arturia's quality vault of analog synth emulations. They sound great!This midi keyboard itself delivers beyond its pricetag, and the bundled Analog 3 Software makes pretty much the best midi keyboard offering in this price range.
