I had bought a rode condenser microphone which was pretty expensive so I kinda compensated it on buying a boom arm which was a big mistake. This boom arm is not capable enough to sustain the weight of the microphone at all. It falls down at a very concerning speed even while recording and sometimes it may fall on your head if u are underneath it, I had some of such accidents and it hurts. So unless u have a cheap light microphone, u are good to go but expensive heavy ones, don't at all compensate on a good quality boom arm, it is as important as the microphone itself and I learned it in the hard way.
