Premium warranty essentially protects your purchase by providing
Unlimited free pickups, servicing and drop offs. Apart from the free 2-year standard warranty plan, Bajaao offers an exclusive 1 & 2-Year paid Premium Warranty plan to all its customers. You have the choice to opt for ‘Premium Warranty’, either for 1 or 2 years, on the relevant product page while making a purchase.
HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM THE FREE 2-YEAR BAJAAO’S STANDARD WARRANTY?

Your Products will come with a Bajaao “Premium Warranty Card” which is your certificate of purchase, along with the duration of the warranty. This card will also include Bajaao’s Premium Warranty contact information, and your warranty contract’s terms and conditions.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
- The warranty period begins from the date of delivery.
- Bajaao becomes your one and only point of contact for repair & servicing this product.
- To claim Premium Warranty, retain the warranty certificate that is shipped with the product. If you have a product issue simply call Bajaao on your Premium Warranty card +91-22-42035353 Extension 3 (10 AM - 7 PM) and allow Bajaao's Service Engineers to take it over from there.
- Bajaao Premium Support will then try to troubleshoot over the phone or video call, and if unable to resolve, will have your product shipped back to Bajaao’s warranty repair and service centre. This (level 1) servicing is done by an experienced in-house servicing professional.
- Bajaao will send a courier to pick up/drop off the product from and to your home at Bajaao’s expense. Customers are, however, required to keep the original packaging, to prevent damage in transit.
- If Bajaao service engineers cannot fix the issue in-house, they will directly work with the relevant manufacturer’s service centre to fix the issue. This process usually takes 30 working days, but in cases involving the change/import of specific parts, the service time can take up to 45 working days. During the entire process, however, customers deal only with Bajaao.
- In the senario when your product is to be repaired by the manufacturers service center, BAJAAO will not be responsible for any delays and inconveninces faced by you due to the same.
- Please note that we are not responsible for any delays that may occur if the product is sent to the manufacturer's service center for repair or servicing. The time taken for the manufacturer to complete the service and return the product is beyond our control (for example, involving the Importing/ Sourcing a part from another country), and we may not guarantee specific turnaround times in such cases.
- If Bajaao is unable to repair the product, it will replace the product with the same or equivalent model available. No refund under any circumstances. Warranty on the replaced unit is for 30 days or the remainder of warranty coverage (whichever is later).
- Parts and Labour incurred to fix the product, and shipping of the product to/from customer to Bajaao service centre are all borne by Bajaao. Customers bear no additional expense apart from their initial Premium Warranty purchase.
WHAT ARE THE TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF THIS PLAN?
- Coverage applies only if the product malfunctions under normal operating conditions.
- Products are covered for manufacturing defects, but not for normal wear and tear and abuse/mishandling.
- The plan begins from the date of delivery and is inclusive of the manufacturer’s warranty.
- The plan is only available at the time of product purchase.
WHAT IS NOT COVERED IN THE BAJAAO PREMIUM WARRANTY PLAN?
- For all types of Guitars and Ukuleles- Fret wear, saddle wear, nut wear, strings, and batteries.
- Setups, adjustments or routine maintenance of any kind.
- Damage to finishes or cracks, splitting, or warping of wood due to changes in temperature or humidity, exposure to or contact with sunlight, fire, moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration, guitar straps, guitar stands/hangers made from vinyl, plastic, rubber or other synthetic materials, any other chemicals or non-approved polishes.
- For tube amplifiers- the warranty does not cover the replacement of the tubes/valves.
- For all instruments and pro audio/video products- Damage, corrosion or rusting of any hardware components caused by humidity, salty air, or exposure to the moisture, body salts and acids of perspiration.
- Any damage to an instrument or audio device resulting from customization or modification.
- Damages caused by rodents or insects.
- Normal wear and tear on any part of the instrument, case or gig bag including jacks, controls, switches, plated surfaces, tuning machines, Pickguards, zippers, clasps, handles, latches, knobs, faders, case hardware etc.
- All other damage and deterioration due to normal usage, wear-and-tear, ageing, accidents, neglect, abuse, or acts of nature,
- Failure to follow the manufacturer’s instructions
- Vandalism, theft, fire, or any other act of God
- Products not originally covered under manufacturer’s standard warranty
- Any product, whose serial number is missing, altered or tampered with, in any fashion.
- Improper use of any power supply, or damage to unprotected equipment circuitry caused by power surges or voltage fluctuation
- Any product purchased from anyone other than Bajaao.com
- Products that have been serviced by unauthorized persons (any person other than a Bajaao Certified Technician at an Authorized Bajaao.com Service Centre).
- Accessories and Software are not covered under Premium Warranty.
IS THIS WARRANTY TRANSFERABLE?
Non-transferable. Only applies to the original owner of the product.
HOW DO I CANCEL THE PREMIUM WARRANTY?
The warranty is auto-cancelled if the order gets cancelled. Warranty is cancelled and refunded in case the customer returns the product according to our return policy.
BAJAAO FREE 2 YEAR STANDARD WARRANTY PLAN
We are offering a voluntary service that extends the manufacturer's warranty period (usually 12 months) to a full 24 months - at our own cost.
Bajaao’s exclusive FREE 2-year standard warranty comes "in the box" with nearly every product we sell. This means your purchase is automatically protected for two years from the date of delivery of the product. And if your manufacturer's original warranty is greater than two years, our warranty won't adversely affect it. ( Please note- Most Vault products, and Yamaha and Casio Keyboards, come with a 3-year standard warranty)

In 2017, Bajaao set the standard in the industry when we set up our Service Centre with skilled service technicians and built a repair network with the service centres of most of our brands. Since 2017, Bajaao has been the only seller providing free tech support and a premium warranty service.
However, as an authorized dealer for over 200 brands, we have observed that the quality of standard manufacturer warranty in India varies greatly by brand, making it difficult for some customers to avail of dependable warranty support. Therefore, to provide hassle-free support and secure the purchase of all our customers, we have introduced this voluntary FREE 2-Year Standard Warranty covering all brands and categories ( excluding Software and Accessories) w.e.f. 15th July 2020.
HOW IS THIS PLAN DIFFERENT FROM THE MANUFACTURERS WARRANTY INCLUDED IN THE PRODUCT?
WHO IS ELIGIBLE FOR THIS PLAN?
The Free 2 (TWO)-Year Standard Warranty plan is offered free on the purchases made on all products (excluding software, accessories and personal/home audio categories ) purchased from the wesite www.bajaao.com our our BAJAAO app. This plan is not applicable if the product is purchased from marketplaces like Amazon, Flipkart etc where Bajaao is the seller. Products purchased on Amazon or Flipkart where BAJAAO is the seller, will only be covered by a 1 year warranty with the exception of the brand Vault.
*Note: Most products come with a 1-year standard warranty plan but few brands like Vault, Yamaha and Casio (Keyboards only), Audio-Technica and Behringer come with a 3-year standard manufacturer warranty plan. The Bajaao warranty does not adversely affect this. For these products, Bajaao shall cover its standard warranty terms up to three years.
WHAT ARE THE FEATURES OFFERED IN THIS PLAN?
Bajaao will service/repair the covered product free of cost and get it back to working order as long as the reason for malfunction is not a warranty exclusion. If any part needs replacement during the servicing or repair process, the customer is responsible for bearing the nominal charges associated with the replacement but need not for the labor.
Customers only deal with Bajaao for any claims and need not interact with the manufacturer directly at any point during the plan term.
WHAT IS THE TERM OF THE PLAN?
The “Plan Term” is for two years commencing from the day of delivery of the covered product. The warranty shall immediately and automatically terminate if the same has not been availed/claimed for 2 years.

HOW DO I CLAIM MY FREE 2-YEAR BAJAAO WARRANTY?
- If your product meets the warranty service criteria and is within the stipulated 2 years, simply email us at helpdesk@bajaao.com, with a short video highlighting the issue, or call on Bajaao’s After-Sales line at 022-42035353 (Extension 3) for tech support.
- For products purchased from the Bajaao store on Amazon or Flipkart, the warranty coverage offered is 1 year for all product with the exception of Vault. Please mention your full name & mobile number when you email us from your Amazon or Flipkart account. In the scenario of a return, we would need the Amazon or Flipkart invoice shipped along with the product. Returns received with missing/tampered barcodes or serial numbers will be rejected and will not be eligible for any warranty support.
- The after-sales technician will then review the issue/video you have shared and try to first troubleshoot it via a simple phone/video call. If the reported issue isn’t fixed by basic troubleshooting, you will need to ship the product to our service centre (address Below) for further inspection.

- Customers are responsible for shipping the product to Bajaao’s service center after the technician authorizes the standard warranty return service. After servicing the product, Bajaao will ship the product back to the customer at its own expense. However, for customers that want the product picked up from their homes, Bajaao offers a courier pick up service for a nominal pick-up fee of 7% of the product price, to a maximum of Rs 2000.
- Returns received with missing/tampered barcodes or serial numbers will be rejected and will not be eligible for any warranty support.
