Editions change between releases — confirm the current feature list on the individual product page before ordering.
These are licenses. After payment you receive an activation code by email, which you redeem in Steinberg Activation Manager or Steinberg Download Assistant. Nothing ships.
A Full Version is perpetual — you own that version permanently. A 365 license runs for one year from activation and stops working when the term ends unless you renew.
Upgrade and crossgrade licenses are priced separately from the full versions listed here, and which one applies depends on the version already registered to your Steinberg ID. Sign in to your Steinberg account to see the licenses you hold, then check the product page for the edition you want.
Elements if you are learning and want the core engine. Artist if you write songs and keep hitting the track and instrument limits. Pro if you need VariAudio, surround, video sync and the complete plug-in set.
Current Steinberg releases run natively on Apple silicon and on Windows 11. Check the system requirements on the individual product page before you buy — they differ between titles.
Once an activation code has been issued, it cannot be returned, so confirm the edition and its system requirements on the product page before you order. The comparison table above covers the differences between the Cubase tiers.
Tell us what you are recording, what you are running it on, and whether you already own a Steinberg license. We will point you at the right SKU.
If you are looking for an educational license, please call +91-22-42035353 to verify your eligibility to purchase an educational license.
Steinberg has been building recording software in Hamburg since 1984, and the VST format it invented is still the standard every other plug-in is written to. Bajaao stocks the current catalogue as genuine downloadable licenses: Cubase Elements, Artist and Pro for music production; Nuendo for film, television and game audio post; WaveLab Cast, Elements and Pro for mastering and podcast delivery; SpectraLayers Elements and Pro for spectral repair and stem separation; and the full range of Steinberg VST instruments, from the Iconica orchestral series and HALion sampler to Groove Agent, Retrologue, Padshop and the Absolute bundle.
Every title on this page is sold as a license rather than a boxed product. Once your order is confirmed we issue an activation code by email, which you redeem against your own Steinberg ID in Steinberg Activation Manager and then install through the Steinberg Download Assistant. Because the license sits in your account, it stays with you across machine changes and reinstalls. Perpetual Full Version licenses do not expire; 365 licenses run for twelve months from activation.
If you are moving up from an older version, upgrade and crossgrade pricing is usually cheaper than buying the full version again — the path available to you depends on which license is already registered to your Steinberg ID, so check the product page for the edition you want. Multi-seat and education licensing is available for studios and institutions. Prices shown on this page update live from our catalogue.
