Great looking monitors with performance to match. From 100Hz upwards, the frequency response was very flat until 20KHz, always within +/- 2dB. At lower frequencies, there was a dip between 80-100Hz and a high peak between 50-60Hz which could be due to my unpadded room acoustics. Response starts falling sharply under 47Hz, probably because these were just delivered today. LF response is expected to extend lower after a few weeks of use as the spiders loosen up. Even at 35Hz though the sound pressure was low, it was free of distortion. To any untrained ear, the sound is distinctly different from expensive 2.1 or 5.1 speakers that we often connect with our TVs. Value for money for those who care about true fidelity, not "warm" or "explosive" sound.
