When we plan to buy a octapad first Roland came to our mind but due to high price most of the time we cant go with Roland SPD series but when we see Alesis giving us the same octapad at cheaper price we usually go with that. Ya its really cheaper comparing with Roland but it has few draw backs.. you cant loop any thing after playing realtime. Cant change patch at the middle portion of the song... the processor take few time to change the patch from one to another. Still if you want to play the drums on this sample pad pro... if you want to complement your drum kit to this pad... i think this will full fill your expectation.. its handy, less weight and carring is super easy.. so expect less at the time of purchase you will be satisfy with Alesis Sample Pad Pro.
Product stopped working after a month- one of the pads was only intermittently sounding on sticking. Sent for repair at my own cost . Bajaao sent for repair with Alesis(after too many follow ups) and Bajaao sent back saying repaired. When open and played, same problem exists. No repair done. Asked for refund or replacement. Still no repose... Extremely dejected. Bajaao is extremely slow and unresponsive...Beware of Alesis and Bajaao

good product liked it well.
The varied sound in the Alesis Sample pro is really awesome. The only issue associate with this product is sensitiveness of pad. Besides that I enjoyed a lot with this instrument.
