I was looking for a Breedlove Concert because Taylor and Martin are generally not cost effective in India.
Suddenly saw this unsung Cort piece, and was shocked when I read the top is Adirondack Spruce! And with solid Maple sides and back (Flamed Maple in fact, pleasant surprise when I actually saw it), for the price, this was a steal so didn't think twice.
And I'm not even talking about the lovely black finish and amazingly detailed and beautiful inlays! Considering that I'm into both astrology and astronomy, this felt like a guitar just made for me - it is stunning, a real looker!
Coming to the sound, the lovely Grand Auditorium body makes it easier to play and sweeter than my dreadnoughts. But don't let the soft tones fool you (and I do recommend you watch the only 2 YouTube videos of this guitar to hear how sweet it sounds 😀), the Adirondack is so powerful that this makes the Seven Stars a dynamic beast! I was literally taken aback when I suddenly switched from fingerpicking to full on strumming on this.
I just love this guitar and it sounds and plays really so well that it makes me want to practice daily.
So of course worth the buy 👍🏽
