I have gone through a lot of review before i made my first purchase of Electric Guitar, I started to play guitar only and only because of GNR , specifically SLASH . So, i have compared all Epiphone LP guitar and SG guitars over few years...Going with review.If your budget is 25-31KThis Epiphone Les Paul Studio with EBONY fretboard @27.5K is at its best price in INDIA (because today its sale on Bajaao.com)As Ebony is one of the most costliest wood in the world , it is very dark, more heavy than rosewood or any other, good for metal , rock music.(Doesn't mean guitar is only limited to Rock or metal , just depends upon your playabilty. It comes with chrome hardware-Better one (Hardwares usually come with Nickle or chrome electroplating. Chrome has more shiny life and nickle becomes dull with time. But thats totally personal likings , some people like dull nickle look (kinda like vintage guitar)As Officially it won't come with any Hardcase but a padded bag. From officially i mean according to Epiphone (doesn't matter you buy online or nearby store) .So Assure yourself that there is no crack on Neck or near Joint.Personally I like Only and Only Les Paul (because everything else except les paul is like APPLE LOGO with bite on other sides , Kinda fake. and thats only personal) and VINTAGE SUNBURST Color ( Because everything else is Kinda Non slash :P , or Gold Silk-Print is second option)If you are a starter you may go with epiphone LP special II nearly 13-14 K (very Good, (650R , 700T pickups)), or new epiphone Slash AFD special II edition (Zebra-coil pickups) nearly 19K(with inbuilt tuner but pickups changed) , or then LP 100 21K (650R , 700T pickups) , then This LP studio 31K (Alnico pick ups) (every other site except Bajaao)Don't waste time on thinking or waiting to buy costlier one ,(Like me)Learning is most important than getting best one. All are great guitars , quickly buy the one in your budget and be perfect to buy your next guitar.
