EVE Audio SC4070 6.5-inch Active Studio Monitor

SMART-knob EVE Audio monitors feature high-resolution DSP electronics for precise room adaptation. Users can control filters, volume, and adjustments directly from the monitor using the rotary SMART-knob. The DSP is supported by a high-quality A/D converter, ensuring signal integrity. Settings are easily lockable to prevent accidental changes, offering a user-friendly and reliable design.

Driver technology Our studio monitors use Air Motion Transformers to reproduce high frequencies with accuracy and low distortion. The hand-folded diaphragm produces sound waves 4x more efficiently than traditional tweeters. To complete our systems we developed glass-fiber coated SilverCone woofers providing a tight, dynamic bass with minimal distortion.

Passive radiator EVE Audio uses a passive radiator design in their subwoofers, replacing traditional bass reflex tubes. This eliminates noise from air turbulence and pipe resonances while reducing subsonic excursions and intermodulation distortion. The design allows for lower tuning frequencies in compact cabinets, providing high-quality sound in smaller monitors.

Cabinet construction EVE Audio prioritizes efficient, clean design by eliminating unnecessary elements like front-facing bass ports. Instead, we use a tuned, larger rear rectangular port without hard edges, enhancing low-frequency efficiency and reducing distortion at high volumes. This design delivers punchy bass without the drawbacks of port compression, ensuring monitors that sound as good as they look.

Adaptable by design These 4-way monitors are symmetrically designed. The eye catching central and massive silver aluminium plate is more than just an attractive design characteristic. It not only houses the midrange woofer and AMT tweeter but is rotatable to make the monitors equally suitable for vertical or horizontal positioning. Room adaption filters and volume control are accessible via SMART-knob with LED ring to indicate all settings with outmost precision. A sophisticated cabinet completes the sleek design. The bevelled and ultra-stiff front plate reduces unwanted resonances and diffraction.

## The SMART-knob Powering On/Off: Standby Mode Press and hold the control three seconds in order to put the monitor in Standby mode. The volume will decrease gradually while the LED ring lights up once around the Volume control. Afterwards, the LED on the right end will remain dimly lit and the power consumption is reduced to 1 watt. Volume The volume can be adjusted by turning the knob. Depending on the LED mode selected, the volume will be displayed as a dim/ bright circle or as a dim/bright point. Mute To put the monitor in Mute Mode, turn the volume control counter clockwise until you reach the minimum level. When the LED on the left end lights up dimly the Mute Mode is activated. Settings Press the SMART-knob once to enter the Settings menu. Here you can set different filters as well as the LED ring’s behavior. The LED of the currently active function blinks.
