75TH ANNIVERSARY FASTLANE™ HUMBUCKER PICKUP AND 75TH ANNIVERSARY ULTRA NOISELESS™ TELE® PICKUP: This Anniversary Ultra Telecaster features a set of pickups specially voiced for this instrument. Fender's first ever single spaced dual coil pickup, the Fastlane humbucker is meticulously voiced to have a present top end with a decided mid push. It is a medium output pickup with great string to string note clarity and warm, articulate breakup. The neck pickup is our hottest Ultra Noiseless Tele pickup to date, voiced to match the output of the Fastlane without sacrificing clarity and warmth.

The S-1™ switch on the volume activates series mode, engaging both pickups wired in series for a fatter sound with a bump in output. The S-1™ on the tone knob changes the wiring on the Fastlane™ humbucker from series to parallel, offering a brighter, chimier, lower-output tone that’s like a beefier single-coil but still hum-canceling.
