Ultra II Noiseless Vintage Tele Pickups, Advanced Electronics and S-1 Switching: The Ultra II Noiseless Vintage pickups are responsive and expressive, delivering definitive Tele twang for exceptional Fender tone without hum. Ultra II Noiseless pickups feature an evolved architecture of specialized stacked coils with the top coil wound around Alnico V rod magnets to produce true single-coil Fender tone, and the isolated bottom coil calibrated to preserve the tone and simply reject hum. Our patented S-1 switch selects between series or parallel wiring for added tonal range, while the treble bleed circuit maintains your highs at any volume.
-
6-Saddle String-Through-Body Hardtail Bridge with Chromed Brass Saddles: This precision manufactured strings-through-body bridge features chromed brass block saddles for endless sustain, precise attack and rock-solid tuning stability.
-
Compound Radius Ebony Or Quartersawn Maple Fingerboard, Ultra Rolled Edges, Luminlay Side Dots: Built for speed, comfort and facility, the 10”-14” compound-radius fingerboard is rounded near the nut, becoming increasingly flatter as it nears the upper register. Luminlay® glow-in the-dark side dots provide exceptional visibility even on the darkest stages while “Ultra” rolled fingerboard edges and a silky, smooth “Ultra” satin finish make the neck effortless to play.
-
Select Alder Body with Ultra Contours and Sculpted Neck Heel: A resonant alder body provides classic Fender tone, while the tapered neck heel allows unparalleled access to the upper registers of the fingerboard and “Ultra” sculpted rear body contours are as beautiful as they are functional.
-
Short Post Locking Tuners: A high-performance feature, short post locking tuning machines provide a sharper and more consistent break angle over the nut for increased sustain and enhanced tuning stability while making string changes fast and easy.
-
Quartersawn Maple Modern “D” Profile Neck: Slim with wide shoulders, the “Modern D” neck profile works for any style of playing, while extra-strong quartersawn maple ensures unparalleled stability.
