Baritone ukuleles are the largest instrument of the ukulele family. Due to its size (74 cm), baritones have a very warm sound that is reminiscent of a classical guitar. Thanks to its warm sound, low maintenance, and flawless intonation, the NUB310 is a perfect instrument for a beginner and a quality addition to any ukulele collection.
**Prior to 2022, the NUB310 was shipped with reentrant GCEA strings; as of 2022, the NUB310 ships with linear DGBE strings. Some dealers may have new “old” models, and tuning linear DGBE strings to reentrant GCEA tuning will cause DGBE strings to break. If your NUB310 has all nylon strings (no wound strings), you should tune the instrument to reentrant GCEA; if there are metal wound strings on your NUB310, it should be tuned to linear DGBE.

Golden red Sapele wood: The Flight NUB310 Baritone Ukulele is made from high quality laminate sapele. Sapele is a light hardwood from tropical Africa with a golden to dark reddish brown color. A close relative of mahogany, its grain is interlocked, and has a uniform texture and good natural luster. The rosettes in all our ukuleles are drawn by hand and engraved by laser.
