Great Guitar, Great Craftsmanship, Okay Pickups

This is a good guitar and with some fair work done with it, the guitar can become greater! Lovely craftsmanship, great tone variety, the fretboard feel is great.
The solid full body provides rich and stable sustains, great for upgrade too.
Cons- The Pickups are not Super58 but Super 58 "Custom" and do not have the same feel as that of Super 58. A Pickup upgrade would be in the order, if you really are obsessed with a richer, smoother and warmer tone.
Neck needs a little work along with some bridge adjustments, a little more often that usual, especially if you stay in a cold place where low humidity is a concern.
Bottom Line - The guitar is sexy looking, artistic and unique in its own ways. I have upgraded the pickups and keep it close to a Humidifier, in general.I love this Guitar and have moved on with the Cons

This guitar is a winner!

I've had this instrument for about two weeks now and I'm VERY impressed. Ibanez paid great attention to detail with this beauty. The dark brown sunburst over the bubinga top, accented with gold hardware, cream binding, and acrylic & abalone inlays makes for a beautiful and classy look. But this baby's not just beautiful, she's a player too! The neck is relatively thin (not wizard thin) and fast with a 24.75" scale length just as one might expect of a LP double-cut knockoff! The Super 58 pickups are NOT high-powered shredders, but rather a sweet PAF output with plenty of character.

It gets a wide variety of sounds, it does both clear and crunch well, and has a great range of tone within each sound. Looks great too, and plays beautifully. A winner.
