The poplar body has a Black Night finish. Bolted onto it is a 24 fret GRG maple neck. This has a rosewood fretboard with white dot inlays. The neck itself feels great. Slim and very comfortable to play. Infinity R humbucker pickups are fitted into the bridge and neck positions. These deliver a great tones. Especially considering the the price. Particularly with a bit of drive in the sound.
The hardware is black throughout. The fixed bridge on the Ibanez GRG121 SP is easy to use and plenty stable. The tuners are of great quality too.
