This is simply superb amp. Clean classic gain as well as dirty tone both are possible without any additional pedal. Way better that boss and fender amp. Tube can give you ample depths.
This amp is perfect for home practice and even gigging or recording. This is a monster in itself! I compared this with few others in the same price range by playing with my guitar in few local music stores and this beats the rest of them hands down. One of the competitors in this range Blackstar HT-1R Combo was close, but still not as great as this in terms of overall tonality and balance. The clean channel is way better in this Marshall one. Besides, this Marshall amp has an attenuation button to reduce to 0.1W level which is ideal for practicing. Checkout my quick demo video to have an idea how it sounds in a home setup. I have used Fender mustang 1 solid state amp for a long time. Wanted to enter into the world of tube amps. After reading and watching so many reviews I purchased this little beast and woooooooow! Two things I feel worth upgrading are- responsiveness and pedals compatibility, which fender mustang never had although its a great amp by itself.
