When it comes to the Pearl Eliminators, you really can't compare them with other pedals out there. They are out rightly the most versatile and dynamically expressive pedals Pearl has produced. It has been around for over two decades, but has undoubtedly remained at the top with no other pedal from other brands giving it competition. It has a sleek look yet is sturdy to a point where you'd probably break a bone or tear a muscle before the pedal shows any signs of fatigue! The interchangeable cams is ingenious and is offered only by Pearl in their Eliminator series of pedals. The spring have an almost infinite tension adjustment which is sure to satisfy the demands of any drummer. The beaters have four differently designed faces of either felt or plastic to help in achieving desired dynamic levels. The drive shaft is both sturdy and smooth which is the best combination for double pedals. Latency between the master and slave pedals can literally be nullified! The belt is durable and highly responsive. It is probably the closes option to a direct drive feel in this price range of pedals. Couple of turns of the drum key and one can shift to a chain drive to get the best of both world. These pedals can last a lifetime, if not more and surely don't disappoint in any way!
