This series of amps can be used with electric, bass and acoustic guitar. The vip 2 has many additional instrument models than vip 1. Most important among them is the violin model. For all of them who are mad about innovative tones for the guitar (I am one) this is a big plus.The negative side to this amp is that it does not have as many guitar amp models as one would ideally want to have, but the models that are there are the best amps in the market today. So this should not be a big problem. This amp is best suited for metal guitarists and would well suit guitarists of other genres. This amp would be perfect for jamming and with the sanpera pedals can be even used live.
