I really try to take care of my cables, but lately, I've been spending a fortune replacing them. I've thought about going to a wireless system, but I didn't want to settle for some cheap and low quality and I didn't want to spend another fortune on a high end one. I just play small gigs at cafes and bars and not a stage rock star. But when I saw that the WMS 40 Mini was manufactured by AKG, I took notice since Ive owned many AKG products over the years and I figured they wouldn't put their name on something that was below their quality standards and i dont regret the decision at all! This thing is fantastic! You wont believe you could get a UHF system at this price.I am very picky about my sound and i had to spend sometime before i could tune it to my liking. The transmitter clips onto my back pocket and the receiver sits on top of my Laney stack.I run a cable from the receiver out to my Boss ME-50 multi-effects unit and a cable back to my amp, but I'm not tethered anymore. It's nice to be able to walk around the stage. Great sound, no dropouts, and a nice price. Get one before they realize their error and raise the price.
