The Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro (250 Ohm) is a fantastic choice for studio monitoring and mixing. The open-back design provides a wide, natural soundstage, and the audio clarity is exceptional—bright highs, clean mids, and tight, controlled bass.
They’re extremely comfortable even during long sessions, thanks to the soft velour earpads. However, do note that at 250 Ohms, they require a good audio interface or headphone amp to get the best sound.
Not ideal for casual or mobile use, but for serious audio work, these are top-tier headphones. Highly recommended!
