It's a perfect tuner. Obviously use it with clip so that tuning of desired instrument doesn't get affected by surrounding. I tune my guitar and violin with tuner and have not and I am pretty much sure will not have any sort of issues. My previous tuner the same lasted for an year until it's circuits melt down. Overall it's really good. Thanks.
