D'Addario EXL145 Nickel Wound Electric Guitar Strings - 0.12-0.54

Bought these because they were the heaviest I could find here, which is a bit sad, but they're good strings. Unlike the other reviewer, I play in Drop D and they also do their job well. Just remember to not make the same mistake I did, and replace the strings every once in a while.

When my recent guitar strings broke, and I needed a rapid replacement, I wanted to test out a few alternatives, as there are no local music shops here with strings (it also reminded me to always have at least two backup packages of strings). I picked these strings based on their generic / general usefulness for my style / preferred gauge, and the brand because of trust and reputation. In the end they took some time to arrive, but reliably came, and of course are quality.

Using it for Drop C and it feels very good to play with
