This is something I've been wanting to buy for a few years but was a bit discouraged to buy this... However with the discount I got from Bajaao, I wasted no time in getting this. It's a brilliant product which helps to eliminate the use of the capo. Best part, a capo only helps to pay higher up... But with this I can also transpose lower. I've used this before so was well aware how to use it and was able to use it straight out of the box live on stage.
There are two sections to this pedal, the whammy section and the drop tune section. When one of the sections is put into use, the effects work fine but when both of them are switched on simultaneously, there's considerable latency. So, I would recommend the users to buy the Digitech Whammy V and the Drop tune pedal separately. The length of the signal chain will increase but the outcome of that will be worth the hassle.
Excellent Sound QualityGood Selection Of EffectsNo warble soundResponsiveVersatileThe Whammy DT is the first Whammy pedal I have every used, and also the first digitech I have ever purchased. I have been very pleased with this product so far. The product is solid and seems to be of great quality as far as structure. The foot pedal itself is very fluid in moving back and forth. I won't lie, the main reason I bought this pedal is for the drop tune capabilities; the whammy and harmonizing effects have just been a great bonus. Using the drop tune enough can basically render your bass player obselete. Did'nt really notice any lag. It is nice to drop it down and play a bass line on a loop pedal and then up tune to play some lead. Bottom Line I would recommend this to a friend.
