Coated strings at the price of normal ones, and they sound good to me! The non-coated exposed core of the lower strings were rusted though... the stock might be a bit old. The higher strings are coated hence not affected.
After the never ending search for long lasting strings, I found these. They last 3-4x more than normal strings because they are coated. My sweat is particularly very corrosive and my aggressive playing style wears the strings out even faster. But these strings are really a steal at this price. Next best option is Elixir but they are expensive!

They are much durable and worth the price ! Also not much options are available for coated strings and in such a low price... so very awesome strings if one is looking for coated strings !
