Ibanez EW20LWNE-NT Acoustic Guitar with Pickup
The EW20LWNE-NT electro-acoustic western guitar by Ibanez belongs to the highly appreciated EW series. This steel-string guitar beautifully blends the sound characteristics of the exotic wood type cordia with the qualities of the B-Band pickup and Ibanez preamplifier. As a result, the Ibanez EW20WNE-NT isn't just a guitar with great looks but also offers a beautiful sound and great playability.
The EW body of this semi-acoustic guitar has a top, back and sides made of cordia. Cordia (dodecandra) is the botanic name of the Mexican ziricote. Ziricote has an exceptionally beautiful appearance and is similar to the Brazilian rosewood with 'spider web' motive, but has more grey and green shades. This wood type is heavier than rosewood and has a fantastic tonal quality. The neck of the EW20WNE-NT is made of mahogany and has a rosewood fretboard. The bridge is made of rosewood as well and is equipped with Ibanez Advantage bridge pins. This steel-string western guitar has die-cast, chrome-plated tuners, an abalone rosette and D'Addario EXP strings.
Thanks to the B-Band UST pickup and Ibanez SRTc preamp you'll have total control over your sound, whether you're performing on stage or recording in the studio. The Ibanez SRTc preamp has a volume control, a 3-band equalizer (bass, treble, mids), a phase reverse for reducing potential feedback and a digital tuner. But, there's even more to this preamp! It has a Chorus function, for instance. With one press of the button you can get that beautiful Chorus sound which is a kind of flutter that gives a wider sound and is almost identical to the Flanger effect. With the Anti-feedback Freq. function you can let high and loud tones resound across the stage without any feedback creeping into the mix. Thanks to the extra balanced XLR output next to the jack output, you can quickly and easily connect the guitar to a PA setup.
