Ibanez GRG121DX RG Gio Series Electric Guitar Overview: The GRG121DX is an RG series solid body electric guitar model introduced by Ibanez in 2012. It is as part of the entry-level GIO line. The GRG121DX features a one-piece maple neck with a 24-fret rosewood fingerboard with sharktooth inlays and two covered humbuckers with a 3-way selector switch. It is a hard-tail model.
For 2018 the rosewood fingerboard was replaced with treated New Zealand pine and bridge was replaced by the F106. For 2019 the 3-way pickup selector was swapped out for a 5-way lever. For 2020 the fretboard was changed to purpleheart. Initial production from 2012 through 2014 was in both China and Indonesia. From 2015 through 2017 it was produced only in Indonesia. From 2018 production was moved to China.
The GRG121EX is a similar model with dot fretboard inlays. The GRG121SP is a similar model with a cheetah-patterned pickguard and white dot inlays. The GRG120BDX is a similar model with a tremolo bridge. Maple Neck The Maple neck provides stability and bright tonal character. Note down:
There is no tremolo bar
It is a fixed bridge guitar
If ur budget is 22k below... perfect guitar
Any guitar below 30k don't expect divebomb tremolo bar,so buy above 30k+ for good tremolo,you can still buy below 30k and don't get disappointment after ur tune gets off while dive bombing.

Well, a good looking guitar and a driving inspiration automatically incites a learning lust to it.
This one right here gives that feel.
The Ibanez GRG 121 DX is an entry level guitar, good for beginners and may please a little to intermediates aswell.
The output of the ceramic pickups is quite decent if you compare with beginner level guitars.
Other than that, the playability feels good on this one. Although I needed to adjust the action as it was a bit high during delivery.
Overall, the guitar is just perfect for beginners and may please some intermediates too.
The comparatively high cost of this is justified by the brand tag. Ibanez never compromises with its quality and it reflects in this one too. Be it a Gio series or original RG series guitar. Although the guitar is made in china, the build quality didnt disappointed at all to me.
At the end of the day, skills are in the hands. So you better focus on learning the art of playing guitar and Ibanez will focus on making you look and sound good with this beautiful thing ;)

I am super late while i write a review bout this guitar, thou i have played few ibanez and schecter guitars this is a extraordinary guitar to the class if you are finding something that has the asthetics and a shred machine in budget then go for it (while i write this review lockdown happened and i ordered this guitar at 17 feb and received it at 28 some issues happened in between i was told I'll get next month but i received it earlier)

Thank u Bajaao... surprised me with that price. A lil adjustment needed for those who use 11-54,12-56 gauges aswell. Careful with the poor paintjob and fragile mahagony body. Yet I have no complain for the price. I'm a simple man, it handles till dropA well.

i got the guitar in best condition as expected from bajaao but in new guitar i am facing grounding issue like i am getting buzz sound from guitar i already tried with different cable and amps and the issue is with guitar i have to whenever i touch any metal part in guitar like string or bridge the buzz sound only reduce and when i change the tone on guitar that buzz sound become irritating. i did expect form the that bajaao i am very disappointment
My guitar bridge was rusted , called the customer service agent , 3 days after receiving the product, it's been almost 15 days now no sign of pickup ,have called them 7-8 times then Also no resolution, never gonna buy again and won't suggest anyone don't fall for discounts..
