Description

Ibanez RG421 MOL RG Standard Series Electric Guitars - Mahogany Oil Overview: Ibanez builds guitars for players of all levels—from beginners to the most demanding masters of the instrument. Regardless of price, Ibanez always strives to offer the absolute best sound, style, and playability in its class.

The Standard series incorporates all the staples the Ibanez brand is famous for, such as fast necks, floating trems, and high-octane distortion in a package that is available and accessible to most players. Features: Jatoba Fretboard Jatoba has a reddish brown color which produces a rich mid range with a crisp high end.

Mono-unit output jack The mono-unit output jack is made of solid, durable material and is a single piece to avoid unwanted movement and loosening of the jack, which leads to contact failure or disconnection. This innovation allows for long term playing enjoyment and minimal maintenance. F106 bridge The F106 bridge enriches sustain. String height adjustment can be done easily and independently.

Wizard III Maple neck Ibanez's thin, flat and fast Wizard neck is strong and sturdy and offers unlimited playability and features a two-octave 24-fret fretboard for a wide tonal range.

Customer Reviews

Great guitar for the price!

Lightweight, easy to play fast, ergonomic, versatile tones. It's a well built guitar. Build quality is one of the best I have seen for this price range. It was delivered to me in 12 days. One of the strings is beginning to rust, but other than that everything is well setup. Gig bag was purchased separately.

Ibanez rg421 electric guitar

The packing when rcved was great. The looks of rosewood finish are classy. The sound is great. All 5 stars from me *****Must buy

Good Experience

As expected

It's a great guitar for the price range but one thing I'd like to point out is that the gap from the 12th fret onwards is a little big, it needs adjustments which I don't want to risk doing myself, And the delivery took 4days ,i was compelled to collect it from their facility (FedEx).Overall sounds great.

Superb!

This is really powerful and given at a better price

Excellent

This is my first guitar purchase from here and I'm definitely happy with it. I recommend giving the guitar a setup to your liking from a store and it will play like a dream. You'll get great tones for most genres(especially rock and metal) if you tweak your amp sound settings. The build quality is supreme. The packaging was good, I was a little skeptical of ordering an electric online but I'm pleasantly surprised. One thing to note is that the fretboard differs from the image because ibanez switched to jatoba wood for this model. Not an issue at all, but the fretboard is brown in color and not black as shown in the picture.

A good rg series guitar at a budget

I took this guitar from bajaao. Was really excited to unbox it. But once I did I was a little taken aback by the colour of the fretboard. I have played many guitars before but the colour of the fretboard was much lighter than a rosewood. I was worried if my ibanez was real or fake. But after lot of researching in the internet I came to know that ibanez has switched from rosewood to jatoba fretboard from 2018 due to scarcity of rosewood. But that didn't impact the tone. I found jotoba to be warm sounding. Other than that I found the action to be little higher to my liking. It a easy fix if you know to adjust the bridge though. The quantum pickups are much better than infinity pickups used earlier in the rg series. I wish bajaao just changes the description of the fretboard as it's still mentioned as rosewood fretboard in the site.

No gig bag

Overall product was good.. sounds extremely impressive and packaging was normal but they didn't gave a gig bag after spending such amount a bit disappointed !!
