this product calls itself a contact mic, which suggests it can be used for amplification of acoustic instruments for playing/recording through a PA.
Unfortunately, it clarifies on the box cover, after your receive it, that its only designed for a tuner. So if you try to use it on an acoustic guitar, you will be sorely disappointed with the sound level. Please be warned, ths is ONLY meant for a tuner for wind instruments apparently!!!! Refer pics attached before you buy. It's not a cheap mistake!

while the service help was good and timely, the product is very misleading and disappointing. If you expect a strong clear sound, you might be disappointed. The pack says one thing, the site page says another and the help desk says the third.
But help was helpful and the sound output is acceptable.
