One doesn't have to master the edit functions to play around and and tweaking knobs to start exploring the possibilities. The functions on the front pannel and sequencing will take a bit of time and that's fair but its always fun learning while creating beautiful sound- scapes messing with your senses while you learn.
Received the product pretty soon and well packaged. As for the synth in itself, it really lives up to the claims that Korg makes. It sounds just like the Yamaha DX7. As I'm slowly moving towards a no-laptop hardware-only setup, I'll be sure that my favorite FM patches wont be missed!
