Specs
-
Traditional Design: The 1953 is an electric guitar steeped in the tradition of the instrument. The design is pulled straight from the history books, with an alder body topped with flame maple in that vintage shape and a pair of traditional single-coil Rockfield® pickups that reflect the era it’s named for. A comfortable neck profile and a cutaway to access the higher frets make this a guitar for the ages.
-
The Quad Mod: The Quad Mod is Michael Kelly’s unique design for giving players an extra modern tone from the traditional three-way pickup selector. On old-school guitars with dual singe-coil pickups, the third selector traditionally blends both pickups together in parallel. The Quad Mod adds a fourth selection that wires them together in series, adding a thicker, humbucker-like tone with some added punch due to the separate placement of both pickups.
