The Neumann KM185D is the digital counterpart of the highly successful KM series miniature condenser microphones The digital conversion directly at the capsule of the microphone allows the user to connect the microphone directly into a digital interface such as AES/EBU, AES 42 or S/PDIF thus maintaining clarity and reducing the cost of extra pre-amps and A/D converters.
