Guys, this is my first midi keyboard and after a lot of juggling between other brands and Roland I could not stop myself from getting Roland. Firstly because I wanted a sturdy one and not may features we're needed. Secondly I am not a keyboard player but rather a guitar player and only needed it for composing new tunes and music production.Roland live up to all the expectations, the D beam thing is out of the world, some magic.Keys feel semi weighted and nicely placed.Yet to use all the features. Roland is a brand u can close your eyes and buy.
I bought this a month ago for my home studio before reviewing all the MIDI keys in this price range. Despite many telling me that it's overpriced and it lacks many controllers such as pads, faders, knobs, etc etc I bought this for the sheer playability of this keyboard. The touch sensitivity and the feel of the keys is simply amazing! You may find it a little hard to get used to it at the beginning if you're not a full time pianist like me but once you get a hang of it you'll never be disappointed ever. It's compact but a little heavy and the D beam is so cool! 10/10 for delivery. If you're looking for playability and not for many features, then this is your best bet
