Superior Playability A piano should respond to every nuance of a player’s individual style, allowing the sound to emerge from the instrument in its clearest form. The FP-40 delivers an authentic piano experience with outstanding action for greater musical control.

Responsive Piano Action At the heart of the FP-40 is Roland's acclaimed PHA-4 Standard keyboard, combining fully weighted hammer action, escapement, and Ivory Feel keys with exceptional responsiveness for a natural, expressive playing experience.

Fast, Natural Key Response The triple-sensor technology in the FP-40 key action offers faster, more accurate note repetition for trills, plus increased responsiveness compared to the dual sensors found in other instruments. This is a piano you won’t outgrow as your skills develop.
