It's a lot of guitar for the price. Great for Les Paul lovers or singlecut lovers in general. The pickups sound very nice. The finish is also very nice.

Deceivingly good

I got this guitar as a prize in a competition in May last year. So I have been playing this for 10 months now. All I can say is... metal. This thing looks metal (I have the metallic red one, and it is dark as clotted blood in shadows, bright as sunset when subjected to proper light). This thing totally shines on stage (both look-wise and sound-wise). The neck is the best factory set you can get under 15K (I'm ready to bet a million bucks supporting that). The only problem I faced? Well, the neck pickup seemed to be non-functional at various times when it just came out of the factory. After regular use till October, that problem disappeared. Also, the pickup selector was inverted. So I had to rotate it by 180 degrees manually. And... this is not for crispy clean tone freaks. This thing will destroy you with its high gain sounds, but the clean tones aren't very bright/impressive. The best thing to do with this instrument, is probably to play for a couple years and change the pickups to EMG's or Duncans, as you may start to feel bored with the sound (but hey, that's all up to you).Final Word: If you are a rocker/metalhead, grab this axe when you get the opportunity. And don't expect crispy cleans.

This is a killer guitar for this price!!

i have had this for half a year now...my first was a bullet strat by fender.... i felt that was too bright sounding due to the single coil pickups...i had a liking towards Les Paul style guitars...I saw this amazing beast. then i fell in love with itthis is a powerpacked guitar which is more for any beginner to start with.the pickups are real good ---> they are schecter diamond plus 2..this guitar is for those ppl who like the les paul but are more into metal..this guitar can take loads of gain... it can do a lot more than it seemsbuying a multi effect processor with this guitar would be amazing...... i have a zoom g3n pedal now with this beast and its sounds soo goodthe clean tone is amazing and the heavy tones are just too good..if u want to do more... then change the pickups to EMG or any other Schecter pickups..or u cud rather change only the bridge pickup...last opinion: THis guitar is one to buy!!!Have a amazing time if you are buying this one.. and you will not be compromised with its feel!!
