Great metal tone an a wide range of sounds.

Tech 21 has a reputation for delivering high quality analog pedals amd it dos not let u down in this character series pedal. perfect for most metal distortion sounds. the EQ has a very wide range and the character knob sets the tone so that You can get a sound right from warm to severe crunch. i don't need to dial the gain above 1 o clock to get the heaviest sound in my library. note that this pedal doesn't have noise but will amplify the any noise on your cables so make sure you use good quality ones. Rock solid with a strong frame.. note that the pedal is not actually true bypass.
