Description
The Vault Artisan 4-string Active PJ Bass Guitar is built for bassists who want classic punch, modern versatility, and reliable performance for studio sessions, rehearsals, and live gigs. Featuring a premium mahogany body paired with a Canadian roasted maple neck and roasted maple fingerboard, the PJ4 delivers a balanced tone with excellent sustain, clarity, and playing comfort. Equipped with a powerful Wilkinson PJ pickup configuration, this bass combines the warmth and depth of a split single-coil pickup with the articulation and attack of a bridge single-coil pickup, giving players access to a wide range of tones. The onboard Active/Passive switching system lets you instantly switch between vintage passive character and modern active output, while the dedicated Bass & Treble Cut/Boost EQ provides additional tonal shaping for any musical style. The 34-inch scale length offers the familiar feel preferred by most bass players, while the bone nut, dual-action truss rod, and bolt-on neck construction ensure excellent tuning stability, durability, and easy setup adjustments. Finished in a sleek gloss finish, the Vault Artisan PJ4 combines professional features, premium components, and outstanding value in a bass designed to inspire players at every level.
