I have been around guitars and guitarists for a while now and i have tried and tested quite many guitars.
As i decided to get my first electric guitar, i was looking for something inexpensive, something that wont be a worry to take care of but also delivers good quality sound and good feel for playing.
So after spending hours on bajaao.com, I decided to pick this up. As much as I was excited for my first electric guitar, i was also worried about what would come out of the box at such a low price tag.
And honestly speaking as I open the fairly packed box, the first thing I saw was this beautiful banana leaf shaded guitar. Soon i plugged it in and well it sounds great, something is was not expecting from a guitar at this price.
I didn't have much expectation from the pickups, but surprise! they are great, specially for a beginner's guitar.
I am just happy.
Now taking a look at the cons (which i don't really mind since this is a below 10k guitar).
The first thing was the fit and finish at some parts, like the pickup cuts on the body, could be better.
Secondly, the fret board is decently smooth but has few tiny porous on it,
Third, the neck, even though it is fairly smooth but i wish it had a proper burnish sort of touch.
Fourth, after adjusting the fulcrum claw for the floating strat styled tremolo, the fulcrum claw at the back of the guitar rose a bit higher for which the body plate didn't fit properly.
Now these cons are not that big, but i am a guy who looks for precision in everything.
Apart from that, i just love this piece, and proud that it is my first electric guitar.
Another thing I would like to share is that the green color variant, whose picture on the website might not look that appealing, but trust me it's damn beautiful in person.
I wanted to get the red or the blue variant, but thank god they were out of stock, and now I am just happy that i got the green one. It saved me from having a cliche or mainstream looking guitar.
