The delivered sticks were not officially from Vic Firth and had a different logo compared to the actual Nova logo. The quality was very poor and the stick looked worn out after barely an hour of playing.
Vic Firth Nova N7A Wood Drum Stick
Bought for intermediate level practice and found the product well made and of good quality. Delivery was fine (though could have been quicker being domestic) and well packed.
I dont even care if it is a b grade hickory, once you use them you will not think about the grade. Excellent for the price.
Recently bought the sticks. Absolutely no problem in delivery and packing. The sticks are definitely better than ordinary sticks with light weight and better weight distribution
So first off, these are NOT original Vic Firth sticks. As far as I know, Vic Firth doesn't make any sticks with the name "Nova". I believe these are seconds. But I suppose these are much better than Chancellor or any other cheap sticks that fall under Rs. 200>Out of the three pairs I ordered, one of them was cracked, although I was delivered a fresh pair in under 72 hours. My advice to you folks is please inspect your pair(s) upon delivery because since these sticks are seconds, there is a very high chance you may receive a damaged stick like I did.
Its simply awesome. I bought for my kid and he loves it. Need bundle offer on this sticks
These sticks are excellent for drumming.... No idea if these are B Grade or A Grade but they are simply awesome for playing...Nice control and bounce... Great product from Vic Firth..
Great feel to play with nova and great design
this pair as any other pair in budget is good and decent for the price tag. i already own prostick 7a pair entry level which is 350bucks. both these pairs are same i dont feels any difference.
