Based on the EMG-81 made famous by the likes of Zakk Wylde and Kirk Hammett, The EMG-81TW gives you both sounds with the best possible quality and the lowest noise The EMG-81TW has dual active preamps and triple-coils—it's a real humbucker and a real single coil in one guitar pickup.

The EMG -81TW humbucker includes the prewired push/pull knob, battery clip set, output jack and a Quik-Connec™ cable to easily connect the pickup to other EMG products such as the Presence Control, EXG Expander or the PA2 Preamp Booster.
