Great pedal!

I think I speak for everyone when I say that this is a great pedal for any guitarist. It very effectively does what it is supposed to do. And it is also built like a tank! Though it has no true bypass, I find that the tone after this pedal isn't much of an issue and so I don't feel like it compromises my music! I use it with my epi Les Paul, and it serves me well! Will recommend to anybody looking for a noise gate pedal!

Does the job. Not very good if you have a single coil guitar like SSS Strat. Expect it to perform better with humbuckers.

I am using it in my rig from 1 year and I'm very satisfied with the noise suppression it does. Moreover you can also use it as a Power Supply by adding BOSS Daisy Chain Cable to it.Win Win Situation.

Worst Noise Suppressor pedal

Boss is a World renounced brand. It produced many legendary pedals. But this is the year 2018. Boss pedals have dinosaur-age technology. They are noisy & without true bypass (the pedal still effects overall sound even after being switched off).The World is slowly discarding boss pedals. Guitarists like Joe Satriani & Steve Vai have thrown away their boss DS1, OD1 etc & got other brand pedal.Get any other Noise Supressor like ISP Decimator, Rocktron Guitar silencer etc. They are way better. Go & read the user/expert reviews from around the World & decide yourself.
