Scenario: If you opted for Axis Bank credit card EMI for 6 months on a product priced at ₹7599, the annual interest charged by Axis bank @13% amounts to ₹291. This additional interest will be credited to your Bajaao wallet as cashback.

 

Q: Do I still need to pay interest on my product purchased on EMI?

A: Yes. The bank will continue to charge Interest as per the Credit or Debit Card EMI Plan. However, the total interest charged by the bank will be credited to your Bajaao wallet as Cashback.

 

Q: When will I receive my cashback?

A: Once you have made your purchase, send an email to helpdesk@bajaao.com citing your order number and proof of EMI. Within 15 days the entire interest amount will be credited to your registered Bajaao account/wallet.

Q: Where will I find the proof of EMI?

A: Once you have made your purchase on EMI, your bank will send you an email with an attachment confirming the EMI transaction with details of your interest rate, tenure and installment amount. Most bank confirmation emails carry the following subject line - "[Bank Name]: EMI Letter with  Monthly EMI Details"

Q: How do I redeem these cashback points?

A: These points can be redeemed to get a discount on your next purchase with us. The easiest way to redeem your points is at the cart while you checkout. The cart automatically shows you your accumulated points, and allows you to select how much you want to redeem. 

As per our redemption policy, you can redeem all your points in one order, or redeem partially over many orders, as long as the order value is 4 times the amount being redeemed. Once you click on Redeem on the denomination of your choice, you'll get an email from BAJAAO containing the coupon code within 10-15 minutes. Q: How do I use the EMI facility?

If you have any of the above eligible Credit/Debit Cards, follow the below steps.

•     On the payments page, choose from any one of our payment gateways.(RazorPay/PayU)
•     At the payment gateway select EMI option, your respective bank, desired EMI duration and click on Make payment/ Pay Now.
•     For Debit card EMI transactions, you need to check your loan eligibility with the bank. Once confirmed, you can proceed with the same offer.

 

Q: How EMI payment works?

•     As soon as you complete your order on the payment gateway and receive an order confirmation email from Bajaao, you will see the full amount charged on your credit card. This charge is blocked against your card limit and not billed in your billing cycle.
•     After 2-4 working days, your Bank will convert this charge into EMIs.
•     From your next billing cycle, you will be charged the specific EMI amount on your card bill and your credit limit will be reduced by the outstanding amount. For example, if you have made a 3-month EMI purchase of Rs. 10,000 and your credit limit is Rs. 50,000 then your bank will block your credit limit by Rs. 10,000 and thus your available credit limit after the purchase will only be Rs. 40,000. As and when you pay your EMI every month, your credit limit will be released accordingly.

 

Q: How do Cancelations / Refunds work for EMI purchases?

A: If you cancel or return an order purchased using "EMI", Bajaao will refund amount as per the existing refund policy and the EMI purchase will be cancelled. You will need to connect with your respective bank to confirm how the EMI scheme on your credit card has been modified.

Q: Where can I see these options at the time of checkout?
