BAJAAO Used Gear Marketplace 3 day Fraud Protection
BAJAAO protects buyers from fraudulent sellers with 3 day fraud protection coverage. Which means that you as a buyer can report a fraudulent claim within 3 days of receiving a product with photo & video evidence, Please shoot a video of live unpacking/ unboxing of product received.
To protect buyers from fraud, sellers must list products using live images taken physically of the product being sold and mention any flaws and issues the gear may have up front at the time of the listing and state the appropriate condition the gear is in. The seller cannot ship a substitute or replacement for the item.
- If the Seller has not shipped the sold product within three business days of completing the sale, BAJAAO reserves the right to issue a refund to the buyer on his behalf.
- As a seller If you are unable to fulfill an order and must cancel it, or if a buyer requests a cancellation reach out to BAJAAO over the phone or at helpdesk@bajaao.com
- If the item is not delivered or not as described (i.e. the item received is significantly different from the listing description based on, make & model appearance, condition, etc). The buyer has three working days to raise a claim and BAJAAO will intervene and resolve the issue.
- BAJAAO encourages buyers to contact sellers when any issues or questions arise related to their order, and you should work with the buyer to resolve issues directly. If you are unable to resolve an order issue with a buyer directly, BAJAAO will do all it can to assist.
- All payments made for Used gear are held for 3 days from the day of delivery, If a case of Fraud has been raised with us by the Buyer within the 3 day window, BAJAAO will initiate an investigation on the claim and will withhold payment to the seller until the issue is resolved. This may take upto 7 working days. Once a case of fraud or product misrepresentation has been established BAJAAO will refund the payment made back to the Buyer in full after the product has been picked up by a BAJAAO authorized courier to be returned to the seller.
BAJAAO may attempt to resolve disputes at BAJAAO's sole discretion, and has no obligation to resolve disputes between users and outside parties or sale of goods that may have happened outside of the BAJAAO marketplace. Specifically, if the buyer has picked up the product locally and made a payment for the goods directly to the seller instead of going through BAJAAO’s payment gateway; In such cases the 3 day fraud protection will not apply. BAJAAO will attempt to resolve all disputes in good faith based solely on BAJAAO's policies, that BAJAAO may use your personal information for the purpose of resolving a dispute. If willful misrepresentation / fraud is found in certain cases of escalated issues where required, BAJAAO will seek criminal action against the Fraudulent seller and require the buyer to file a FIR raised locally to help resolve such matters.
